La Scuola di Specializzazione in Ortognatodonzia dell’Università degli Studi di Roma “Tor Vergata” è stata attivata nel 2005, con l’obiettivo di formare gli odontoiatri a diventare Specialisti in Ortodonzia con un background culturale solido e un’adeguata esperienza clinica in diversi metodi di trattamento.
Durante il percorso formativo della durata di tre anni gli specializzandi sono coinvolti nella partecipazione a corsi ed eventi,con l’obiettivo di conoscere ed ascoltare docenti e ortodontisti riconosciuti in tutto il mondo. Una Scuola giovane di livello nazionale e internazionale che permette di acquisire le competenze necessarie per svolgere un’attività clinica di alto profilo.
ORTOGNATODONZIA
Il Professor Aldo Giancotti, Associato di Malattie Odontostomatologiche si è laureato in Odontoiatria e Protesi Dentaria presso l’Università degli Studi di Roma “La Sapienza”, si è inoltre specializzato in Ortognatodonzia presso l’Università degli Studi di Ferrara. E’ diplomato e Past-President IBO ( Italian Board of Orthodontics ) ed EBO ( European Board of Orthodontics ) ed attualmente Presidente della Società Italiana di Ortodonzia ( 2023).La sua attività di ricerca sperimentale e clinica include tutti i campi della moderna Ortognatodonzia incluse le moderne tecnologie digitali.
